Our Soundproofing Techniques

To reduce noise coming from a pool, Centro Italia Yachting® uses variable-speed electric pumps with permanent magnet asynchronous motor with electronic AC switching. These ensure savings and, due to a movement regulated according to a fixed number of rotations, they are quieter than standard models. The pre-set variable-speed electric pump can therefore reduce noise by decreasing water speed.

Use of Soundproofing Panels

To reduce pool noise on a vessel, Centro Italia Yachting® technicians carry out soundproofing of the frame with closed-cell panels of various sizes, which do not absorb liquids and have excellent impact resistance. Centro Italia Yachting® uses Sylodyn paneling, which ensures excellent performance thanks to the following characteristics:

Increased structural resistance
Reduction of misalignment between the system and the structure
Protection of filtration system electronics
Lower maintenance costs due to the elimination of electromechanical faults.

Sylodyn paneling guarantees a reduction in natural frequencies up to 10 Hz, supports up to 120 kg/cm2 static load. It is also is self-extinguishing and customizable. These are the combined properties of elasticity and shock absorption:

NE: Permanent static load up to 0.75 N/mm2
ND: Permanent static load up to 0.35 N/mm2
