In this section, we address issues that may affect the filtration and circulation systems of pools designed exclusively for the nautical sector, such as yachts and vessels that may be subject to breakdown, malfunctions, and wear, requiring particular attention from those responsible for the onboard maintenance.

We suggest some possible strategies for the most frequent problems, reminding you that we are available to provide support or directly handle the issue.

The systems of Infinity, Waterfall, Freedom, and Trilogy pools are down

If the circulation and filtration system of the Infinity, Waterfall, Freedom, and Trilogy pools with balance tanks is not working, here are some possible solutions:

  • Check if the filtration pump is running and correctly working. If the pump is off, check the proper operation of the circuit breaker. If there is a timer within the electrical panel, verify that it is not faulty.
  • Check if there is water in the balance tank. If the tank is empty or the water level is low, the sensor may have stopped the filtration pump:
  1. Check if that water is flowing into the balance tank.
  2. Check the filling solenoid valve. It might be burnt, in which case it is blocking the water flow.
  3. Check whether the probes or the emergency probe in the balance tank are dirty or encrusted. If so, they may fail to send signals to the electrical panel.
  4. If there are any electric float switches, check their condition, as one of them might be stuck or defective.
  • Inspect the filter cartridge, as it might be dirty or encrusted, preventing water flow. In this case, remove the filter cartridge and clean or descale it.
  • Check the pre-filter in the filtration pump. If it is dirty, it may block water flow. Disassemble the pre-filter and clean it.
  • Verify if any check valve is encrusted or dirty. If so, disassemble the check valve and clean the closing plate.
  • Check the electrical automation within the electrical panel for functionality; also, check all components as there might be one which is out of order. Replace it if necessary.

The skimmer pool system is down

If the problem affects the system of a skimmer pool, we suggest the following:

  • Check if the filtration pump is running and working correctly. If the pump is off, check the circuit breaker. If there is a timer within the electrical panel, verify its condition as it may be faulty.
  • Inspect the filter cartridge, as it might be dirty or encrusted, preventing the water flow. Remove the filter cartridge and clean or descale it.
